This post was supposed to be the post for yesterday, but we had a few things come up so I didn’t get a chance to post it. But I did finally get it! This was a fun and easy activity to make keepsake handprint ornaments!
To start, I made some dough. Here is the recipe. It was super easy to make!
After the dough is made, simply let the kids push their hands down to leave a handprint. Then cut them out of the dough and lay out to dry. Don’t forget to poke a hole in the top if you want to hang it!
After they were good and dry, I let the kids paint them. This paint was easy to make, but it is a thick and textured paint. If you would like to make this paint, I have included the recipe at the bottom.
The kids really enjoyed painting their handprints and the paint made almost a tie dye effect!
Here’s the recipe if you’d like to try this fun paint with your little ones!
Have fun! 🙂
