1. Pick the right bag
My kids are still in the rewarding phase of potty training, so I make sure to keep jelly beans on hand for rewarding on the go. I keep a small tupperware container in my purse so that they don’t get everywhere.
10. Portable potty seat
This one is totally a personal preference. I found that my kids are ok with just sitting on a regular toilet seat, but for some kids that is intimidating (and it can be harder on mom and dad, too!). There are a few out there, but we tried one called Mommy’s Helper Cushie Traveler. It was nice and it came with its own carrying case.
11. Doggy pee pad
This item doesn’t exactly stay in the bag, but they really come in handy! We use these a lot. They are great in the car seat or stroller to keep from messing anything up when an accident happens. *Side note: These also come in handy when trying to sleep train-just place one between the sheet and mattress!
And that’s what I keep on hand when I am out with my two. It might be annoying to carry so much, but you never know what you might need.
If you have anything to add to the list I would love to hear it!
Good luck and happy potty training!
