A new thing I am going to start doing on this blog is review a few products that I think are worth writing about. Personally, I am always on the lookout for new educational (or just fun!) activities for my kids and I thought I could help you find some new stuff, too!
*I was not paid for my review. This is just my thoughts on the product*
Today I am going to tell you about the Leapfrog Fridge Phonics set. My kids got this awesome gift at their birthday party. It simply hangs on the fridge with magnets and comes with a full set of letters. To play, the child simply picks a letter and places it on the bus. The bus then sings a song about whichever letter was picked. It uses the song to tell which letter it is and what sound it makes.
It is so easy to use and the kids love it! Not only does it keep them busy while I cook supper, it also teaches them! It is great for tiny fingers because the letters are big enough to grip and the design is simple to figure out.
I make this into a learning game by taking turns telling the kids a letter to find. They are so proud of themselves when they get it right!
Look at these proud little faces!
I did worry about the kids getting frustrated because they couldn’t get the letters in the spot right, but it is very easy to put in and make play so we haven’t really had any issues with it. I think the hardest thing about this toy is going to be keeping up with all of the pieces! The “w” has already gone rouge…
Overall this is a great educational toy that provides tons of entertainment and I highly recommend it!
If you have one, I’d love to hear from you! Do your kids like it? Do you like it? I always love to hear from other parents!
